How BatChecker Makes Money

BatChecker is free to use. It earns money in two ways.

Affiliate links

Some pages link to bats on Amazon. If you buy through one of those links, BatChecker earns a commission at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate, BatChecker earns from qualifying purchases. Every affiliate link is marked "(paid link)" next to it.

Ads

The site may show display ads. If it does, they are marked as ads and kept away from the verdicts.

What money does not change

• No company sponsors BatChecker, and nobody pays to change a verdict.
• Verdicts come from each bat's certification and the league's published rules, and every verdict shows its evidence and the date it was checked, so you can check it yourself.
• When the checker suggests legal alternatives, they are chosen by whether they are legal for your league, not by what the site earns. The commission rate is the same whichever bat you buy, and a verdict never carries a buy link.
